At the time of Miranda's session, she was what I call an 'older newborn' - at 4 weeks old, she wasn't going to do the typical curl-up-and-sleep-on-her-tummy poses, but the upside of being nearly a month old is that we got lots of interaction with her family... and my lens! Here's a sneek peek at her session - in Mum & Dad's preference, black and white.
Between the holidays and a poorly baby, Bel's 9 month post is a little late.. she's rapidly approaching the 10 month old mark now! My baby is looking less like a baby all the time and has really come on since she was 6 months old. She's certainly on the move - crawling, pulling up and cruising, and walking all over the place with her dolly pram.. I can't take my eyes off her for a second! Here are a few black & whites of her from this week, modelling a new hat and wandering around with her pram.
Poppy-Rose is my fiancé's new baby cousin, and when she came by for her first visit I couldn't resist whipping the camera out. I love taking pictures of newborns.. babies change so quickly, and they're only this small and soft and new for such a short time!
And I also love black & white shots of tiny babies! Black & white is so simple and elegant, I think.
