Elodie was the perfect age for a newborn shoot, bang in the middle of my favourite 5-7 days old range. She was awake for a little while at the start of her session, but (with lots of feedings!) drifted off and would let me pose her anywhere I tried. I loved the soft light and colours... I'm often tempted to lean more towards black and white images with newborns, but ended up with a lot of colour in this one! Here are a few of my favourites.
I met up with Joel, Laurie and their parents in a pretty local park for their session and while baby Laurie was happy to crawl around and pose for the camera until teething pains kicked in, but 3 year old Joel had a bit of a typical little-boy strop on! We spent a bit of time there before heading back to the family's home, where the boys were a bit more comfortable, to finish up. Here are my favourite from their session!
