Tot Shots - Vogue Magazine, June 2011 Issue

Towards the end of March, I was contacted by Vogue magazine and asked if I'd like to feature in their June issue as part of a advertorial. The feature, called 'Tot Shots', showcases a dozen photographers from all across the UK who, like myself, specialise in child and family portraiture and I was asked to be a part of the page as they felt I provided a style and quality they'd like to include. So I sent over a few images for them to select from, they wrote up some copy and sent through a proof... today the finished article arrived to my door in print!

Exciting stuff! Even as a small part of a feature, it feels good to be in there!

Max - 1 Month Old | Baby Photography

Max was an absolute delight to photograph! With lovely fluffy hair, beautiful eyes and a sweet baby smile, he was a great subject.. flirting with the camera and cuddling with his parents. Max did snooze a bit too, so we got some sleepy pictures although he was a little too old for the typical newborn poses. Here are a few of my picks from the session!

Gabriel | Child Photography

I first met Gabriel's family in 2009, when he was still a bump and again when he was just over a week old. Now Gabriel is almost two, and I joined the family again, this time for an outdoor session at a local park. A very serious toddler, Gabriel really made me work hard to get the smiles! But he warmed up and we had a great time.. here are a few favourites from his session!

Maya - 1 Month Old | Baby Photography

Little Maya was incredibly cute and loved on the camera for a good chunk of her session! As an older 'newborn', we didn't get the typical curled-up shots, but she did have a little snooze while I visited so there are a few sleepy pictures too, as well as some shots with Mummy & Daddy.
